World Vision (Education)
World Vision is an international Christian charity working to make a serious and sustainable impact on poverty and its causes, especially as they affect children.
Route
IE Design Consultancy was recommended to World Vision Education after successful completion of interactive work for another World Vision team. IE displaced the incumbent agency after a two-way credentials pitch.

- Digital branding
- Interactive game concepts
- Visual design

- Technical design and build of CD
- Packaging and print production
Timeframe
16 weeks from commission to delivery of CD-ROM
Outcome
IE's Interactive Team brought together film footage and photography taken on location in Niger, Africa, with animation, avatars and game play to create a series of challenges exploring the global disparity in water access. Users are challenged to consider the everyday repercussions of water scarcity alongside the privileges and responsibilities of being water-rich. 10,000 CD-ROMs delivered on budget, on schedule. Launched to great acclaim at The Education Show and reprinted immediately after.
Commission for next in series already placed and due for distribution this Autumn.
“The level of service and quality of creative thinking that IE delivered was superb. Teachers and kids love the sophisticated animation and intuitive games in equal measure. Dare I mention teacher's tempers became a teeny bit 'frayed' at The Education Show when stocks began to run low?”
