Route
IE Design Consultancy was approached by EU Skills through the recommendation of a similar client to present credentials to a panel.
Background
EU Skills had an in-house developed website that was poorly designed, hard to manage and technically not capable of providing the range of services needed. The organisation lacked an easily managed website that could grow and serve their information delivery remit and provide added value to their corporate members.
Brief
To provide an easily maintainable website with a content management system. The system had to be built on industry standard 'open' technologies to allow for future expansion and integration with various in-house systems. Navigation and site structure were to be based on a user need analysis followed by a visual design phase. An externally accessible intranet built on the same backend with integration with central address books and MS Windows based user authentication.

Technically robust website that is updated daily by internal editorial staff. Website usage has increased by over 280% since the new launch. Google page rank has increased from 3 to 5.
