After 24 hours of intense debate and discussion, the winning 30 words worthy of wielding the IE Design Consultancy Spoon d'Amour have been selected.

The team were amazed by the creativity, linguistic mastery and intelligent humour peppered throughout all entries. In fact, the standard was so impressive that an independent adjudicator had to be called upon to make the final decision in a tricky tie-break situation.

In the end, the words of Sarah Weston of Halesowen College won her the battle for the IE Spoon d'Amour:

When IE Design courted Halesowen College, They needed no runcible spoon for their porridge. The honeymoon sparkled, with hopes after that For a fairytale end in the Year of the Rat.

The entry exceeded all expectations. It was hard not to be impressed by the fact that Sarah opted for verse; it was even more challenging not to crack a smile at her topical reference to the Year of the Rat. Not only have we just entered the Year of the Rat, but IE are also currently developing an interactive viral game for Halesowen College involving their mascot Bernie the Gambian pouch rat.
