IE Design Consultancy has been selected by the partnership of public, private and voluntary organisations behind the Digital Birmingham initiative to deliver strategic marketing consultancy, brand identity and interactive solutions for the project.

The overarching goal of the drive is to transform Birmingham into a leading European Digital City by 2010. Individuals, businesses and communities will be encouraged to exploit the huge potential benefits of digital technology.

The handiwork of IE's design, interactive media and branding teams is scheduled for roll out towards the end of April 2008, initially to launch a competition to find Birmingham's 'Digital Family'.
