Periscope is a fully operational, subscription based, web application. It has been developed over a 3 year period and its UK launch is scheduled for Summer 2009.
Before Periscope, IE’s business operated through multiple, paper based and digital systems. Everything from lists in notebooks to Excel spreadsheets and Word documents. Clients and suppliers increasingly began to notice the value of the system to IE – and potentially to their own organisations – and began asking where they could buy it. In 2006 IE decided to redesign and rebuild the system from the ground up in order to take it to market.
