World Vision is an international Christian charity seeking to make a serious and sustainable impact on poverty and its causes, especially as they affect children. ‘The Indian Village’ is IE’s second educational resource for World Vision.
IE was recommended to World Vision’s Education Team through both an internal referral after successful completion of the Take2 DVD/Social Media Campaign and an external referral from another IE client – The Wonder Project.
World Vision’s Education Team has an established reputation for creating free interactive CD-ROM resources aimed at teachers working with children aged 8-14. World Vision wanted to take the design/production quality and Interactive Whiteboard compatibility to a new level and approached IE first to produce ‘WaterWorld’, a CD-ROM looking at the issue of global water scarcity and then – a year later – to produce ‘The Indian Village’, a DVD-ROM exploring Indian village life.
“On brief, on time, engaging, informative and a joy to use!” Abigail Watkin , Education Officer, World Vision UK
