Aidis are based in London and help disabled people communicate more easily and effectively through technology. The charity’s work includes recommending and supplying hardware and software modification.
IE Design Consultancy was recommended to Aidis via an existing relationship at another technical agency. Following an initial meeting to discuss the specification document IE was invited to present a written costed proposal. IE was subsequently selected over two other agencies.
Aidis had an in-house developed website that was inaccessible and did not accurately represent the services that they offered. It had no e-commerce facilities or membership areas.
To deliver a newly designed website, AAA accessible with alternate style sheets. To increase charity revenue through product sales and encourage online donations. To raise awareness amongst potential supporters.
“IE Design Consultancy took a very complex brief and delivered a great solution using an innovative approach that was on spec and budget. They understood our usability and accessibility needs and helped us to reassure our stakeholders of our commitment to providing appropriate technology to users with disabilities.” Chris Moss, Aidis Trust, Managing Director
