UCAS Connect Mobile App
The latest in education-related apps has arrived in the form of the UCAS Connect mobile app which has been developed by digital agency – Rippleffect.
As many people will know, A-level results day can be an extremely nerve-wracking experience. This week, another set of students will be finding out if they have achieved the grades that they were hoping for. Those students who have not done so will be thrown head first into the clearing process.
This is where UCAS Connect comes in.
With fierce competition for university places, it is vital to make your next move as quickly as possible. Described as “UCAS in your pocket” – the UCAS Connect mobile app gives instant access to the admissions service via your phone at a time when phone lines are constantly tied-up and computers are not always accessible.
Why do we love this new app? One of IE’s top priorities is to enhance user experience by embracing new technologies – which UCAS Connect ‘apptly’ does. We are always looking at new ways of transferring desktop capabilities to mobile devices and UCAS Connect ticks all the boxes. Bespoke. Collaborative. Real-time interaction.
At IE, we don’t compromise on usability. Simply put, our mobile apps are web apps that are optimised on a smaller and more focused scale. We approach mobile app design from the user’s perspective which is critical to providing content which is as rich in functionality as possible. The UCAS Connect mobile app is the epitome of this – with links to the UCAS Facebook and Twitter accounts, all information is available in one, pocket-sized place.
With the UCAS Connect mobile app – all is not lost. To A-level students everywhere, IE wishes you the best of luck this week!
