Andrew Lansley - A Healthy Appy-tite
We have been blogging a lot on web and mobile apps recently. We’ve been seeing new apps for the education sector with the UCAS Connect app and discussed the decline in charity app commissioning. To complete our trio of specialist sectors, IE headquarters have now received news of a request from Andrew Lansley asking GPs to submit ideas for new health apps.
At IE, we think this is a great idea. We very much regard web and mobile apps as tools to be utilised to make a positive impact. In keeping with our philosophy that you – the client – know your business best, this campaign gives GPs and other healthcare professionals the opportunity to improve patient services by turning their ideas in real-life solutions.
How would an app benefit the health sector? A GP Consortia might commission an app for Consortia members to register their interest, upload profile information, join a local network and submit ideas to improve patient experience for peer review.
If there are any GPs out there with great health app ideas but who are worried about finding an agency to build them, IE would love to talk to you. Drop us an email or give us a call on 0121 237 3860.
